In 2002 my father and I went to India for two weeks. The two main reasons were to visit places my father know when he was in India in the 1940s and to research places of importance in the Indian Mutiny in 1857.
Our Itinerary took us to Delhi, Simla, Calcutta, Lucknow, Cawnpore, Jhansi, Gwalior and Agra. I kept a journal for some of that time which I shall be publishing here, and also took numerous photographs which I shall also publish.
Particularly I have published photographs and transcriptions of gravestones and monuments in British cemeteries in the above towns and cities.
This is in response to many requests from family historians with links to India.
